After reading so many great reviews we decided this was the place. The reviews were right on. The rooms were decorated in a fun and contemporary style, not to mention that they were impeccably clean. The bed was so comfortable from the down comforter to the crisp clean sheets that were changed daily. There was a small workout room with free weights and cardio machines for those of you who are interested in working out. For business travelers there are hookups for the internet in your room. The hotel also has two computers that guests are free to use. Included in our stay was the daily newspaper, which was a nice touch. There was complimentary coffee from 6 - 8 a.m. and complimentary wine for two hours in the evening. The overall service was great.
The front desk recommended that we visit Santana Row. Only 4 miles away, this was a great place for dinner and shopping. There were many upscale stores like Gucci, Tods, and Armani Exchange, to name a few. Restaurants here are very busy, call ahead and make reservations. Across the street is the Westfield Mall, it is truly on of the biggest mall I have ever been to. If you get tired of shopping, visit the Winchester Mystery House. This mansion is very fascinating to tour.
Our stay at the Cypress Hotel was fantastic. We will be coming back!

My husband and I travel extensively. We have made 6 trips to various places in the last 3 months. The Cypress was a winner. Never have we enjoyed that level of luxury for $89. The creative touches, the sense of style and the perks were very reminiscent of the L'Ermitage chain in Beverly Hills 20 years ago. At that time, it was the zenith experience, but a costly one. I am interested to know who was the designer of the hotel and who is the owner of the Kimpton chain. I was actually contemplating writing a letter to the travel section of the New York Times. Our stay was perfection!

Particularly appreciated the ease of access to Internet and other business-related options. Truly enjoyed my stay. Hotel furnishings were delightful; showerhead was the best I have experienced in any hotel for a long long time. Thank you!

We loved the dog-friendly environment, the fun decor, the on-loan bathrobes, the spacious room, and the nice location. We also appreciated the special rate with on-line registration. We would definitely stay at the Cypress Hotel again.

Great beds, great decor, just love those bathrobes! I enjoyed all aspects of my stay. The bartender made me feel very comfortable and offered excellent food choices that I ate at the bar one night while dining alone. Everyone was very courteous and helpful -my taxi was on time, my wakeup call was prompt. All of my requests were answered in a helpful manner. I stayed at the Hotel Monaco in Chicago and also had a great experience there too (and a goldfish for company to boot!) So, I would definitely recommend the Kimpton Hotels and experience to other business travelers and friends. Also, our Yahoo! company function was held at the hotel and it was great. Great job on the flowers and decorations and the food was really good.

Totally wonderful people (employees) at all the Kimptons! They are friendly and courteous without being too familiar. Just the right pleasurable touch. Really nice...

I do travel a lot for work and your hotel is the nicest I have stayed in! Everything was clean and beautifully decorated. The service was beyond excellent. I have stayed at the Fifth Avenue Suites in Portland Oregon and I am very impressed with your hotel chain. I will definitely stay in your hotels again!

We appreciate the fact that many of your hotels accept small pets. We have stayed at the Hotel Monaco in Salt Lake City and enjoyed our stay there as well. Great decor in all hotels!

Overall my satisfaction was there and it was a rewarding visit as in the past. Your personnel are great and the hotel quality of accommodation for cost is very good.
